Our health & fitness suite is fully equipped with user friendy cardiovascular and resistance equipment, as well as a free weights studio. Our qualified coaches are available to provide advice to help you achieve your goals.

Admissions Policy
Customers must be 16 or older and have completed a gym induction before they can use the Tone Zone unsupervised.
Juniors (14-16 year olds) can use the Tone Zone unaccompanied between 9.00am - 6.00pm weekdays and anytime during the weekend. If they wish to attend after 6.00pm they must be accompanied by an adult.
All Tone Zone customers are issued with a swipe card after completing their induction. This card must be presented at reception to gain admission and admission is at the discretion of the centre management if a card can not be produced.
Inductions
In order to use the Tone Zone you will be required to undertake an induction, so that you can use the fitness equipment safely and to help obtain the maximum benefits from your workout. During the session you will have the opportunity to try the equipment so please bring appropriate clothing and flat shoes or trainers with you.
As well as the induction or familiarisation session, customers can arrange for a personal health check or for a personal training programme to be created for them.
We recommend that all customers have a personal programme created and have their programme reviewed by one our highly trained gym instructors every six weeks.
Inductions, health checks and programme reviews are available at the Leisure Centre.
Prices
The Tone Zone casual admission price is £5.40 a session for adults or £3.60 for concessions or juniors.
If you are intending to use the gym at least twice a week then please consider one of our membership packages. Our cheapest package starts from just over £5.00 a week for use of the gym, exercise classes and swimming.

BODYPUMP - BODYCOMBAT - BODYJAM
NEW CLASSES - Come along and try our three new classes comprised of choreographed programmes suitable for adults of all fitness levels.

Body Pump LeafletBodypump Monday evening 5:30-6:30pm, Wednesday morning 10:00 - 11:00 am & Wednesday evening at 6:30-7:30pm. Involving effective resistance training to develop strength and confidence.
Bodycombat Tuesday evening 7:30-8:30pm & Friday morning at 10:00-11:00am. Consisting of an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers ultra-fast results.
Bodyjam thursday 8:30-9:30pm.
Consists of a funky soundtrack and hot dance movers.
All classes last for approximately 60 minutes

Low Impact Aerobics
Monday and Thursdays 10.00am-11.00am. An aerobic workout aimed at the beginner and those looking for a gentle exercise class. The warm up will gently lift the heart rate and prepare the body for the workout to come. This is then followed by a combination of steps put together to create an easy to follow routine. This will work the heart and lungs and burn body fat.

Pilates
Wednesday 8.30pm-9.30pm. Pilates focuses on building your bodies core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repitition stretching and conditioning exercises. Core strength includes back, abdominal and pelvic muscles. Pilates will develop these muscles without adding bulk, increasing your flexibility and agility. Pilates provides a complete body workout, you will be working muscles you never knew you had! Helping your mind and body work in harmony!
Step
Tuesday 9.30-10.30am Sundays 10.30-11.30am. A low impact yet high intensity class which is aimed at the intermediate and advanced class member. It is a choreographed workout using both floor and step routines to create a fluent, fun and motivating session. A dynamic class designed to burn body fat leaving you feeling motivated and energised.
Boxercise

Boxercise. Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:30pm. This class offers a variety of movements which develop skills such as co-ordination,balance and agility. It focuses on giving you a whole body workout helping to increase fitness levels. The class incorporates active contact and is suitable for both sexes and abilities.
Conditioning
Body Sculpture
Tuesday 6.30 7.30pm This is a workout to tone, sculpt and strengthen all the major muscles. Each class begins with an aerobic warm-up, followed by a variety of toning exercises using various resistant equipment. This session will develop your overall fitness and strength, burn fat, increase muscle tone and will help improve posture and body awareness.
Core Conditioning

Sunday 9.30am. This is a total mind and body workout concentrating on the deep core muscles which help support and strenghen the torso. It is a controlled workout using toning and stretching exercises in a unique way that includes a mixture of yoga and pilates principles that tone, strengthen and shape the torso, improve the posture and increase general well-being.
Circuit Training and Fitness Circuits

Circuit Training Monday and Thursdays 6.30-7.30pm..These classes use work stations so no co-ordination is needed and can therefore be taken at your own individual pace. They combine cardiovascular/aerobic exercises to improve fitness and stamina, with resistance exercises to tone, strengthen and shape the body. These workouts are suitable for all ages and abilities and will leave you feeling motivated and full of life.
Tomahawk Indoor Cycling

Want to burn fat and improve your figure? Need a new, motivating workout with motivating music? Look no further, indoor cycling is the latest exercise craze in the UK: experienced group cycling with a trained instructor and motivating music.

Water Workouts
Water Aerobics

Tuesday 11.15am and Wednesdays 7.30pm. A class for all taken in the pool. Suitable for beginners and the more advanced exerciser. It is an aerobic class combining familiar and unique exercises that are specifically designed for working out in the water. It is none weight bearing and contains lots of toning and strengthening exercises that use the water as resistance. A popular class that is an enjoyable way to keep fit.
Ladies Only
Total Workout
Thursday evening 7.00pm-9.00pm. This is an excellent opportunity to experience a range of exercise styles and formats. Option First hour-Body toning, Second hour -option 1 Tone Zone. Option 2 Step and Cardio class. The body toning session consists of exercises to target main problem areas. The step session is 30 minutes long and contains high-energy, non-choreographed moves aimed to burn body fat and improve fitness. In the gym session an instuctor is on hand to advise you where necessary.
