At the heart of every leisure centre there is a swimming pool. Goole Leisure Centre's swimming facilities are quite unique consisting of a 25 metre family leisure pool including built in learner pool, water flume and jacuzzi. Changing facilities are provided by a village style changing room which includes disabled, family, group and individual changing cubicles. Showers are communal. Lockers are operated by a 50p or £1 coin and are coin return.

All swimming pools are required to set a maximum number of swimmers for the size of the pool and have an admissions policy for children.
The purpose of the Child Admission Policy is to help safeguard that group of users who are historically most at risk of drowing in swimming pools,the absence of parental attention has been found to be a key factor.All children under the age 8 must be supervised throughout their visit to the pool by an adult in the water with them, an adult is a person aged 16 years or older.
In the main pool, 1 adult can only supervise 1 child aged 3 and under , or 2 children aged between 5 and 7 years old.

We are currently putting our pool programme under review with the possibility of some slight changes. An opportunity has arisen for an hour on a Wednesday evening from 9:15 pm to 10:15 pm for a block booking. If you are part of a club or session and are interested in booking this slot please contact the Leisure Centre.

Speedo have provided Goole Leisure centre with professional swimming programmes from beginner to advanced levels. These are available to the public during set sessions, Tuesday, Thursday mornings 8:00am - 9:00am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons 12:00pm - 1:00pm
